Early Henry Marked Winchester 1866 “Yellow Boy” Lever Action Carbine 44 Cal
This is a rare and very early Winchester that is the second model of the 1866. Because of the rifles age we did not disassemble to see the serial number, but it will have a serial numbers between 15,500-21,000 as the serial numbers remain hidden under the wood.
Barrel marking is faint but present and reads “HENRY’S PATENT-OCT. 16, 1860 KING’S PATENT-MARCH 29, 1866”.
We have inspected this rifle and it functions correctly. Because this is an antique firearm it should be inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to firing.
